27,760 trees in 49 different species are now in the six tree nurseries which we support through collaborations with Missouri Botanical Garden, Graine de Vie, Ranoala, Macolline, and Forest Madagascar. This is a considerable increase from last year.
Planting will soon occur in Antanetiambo Nature Reserve, Agnolakely Nature Reserve, and in several villages near Marojejy National Park and Anjanaharibe-Sud Special Reserve. Dozens of people at each site will participate in the planting over several weeks.
