LCF is very grateful to Green Again: Madagascar for the reforestation training they provided for two of our reforestation staff members. The organization’s founder, Matt Hill, and Catherine Fanandrana Hill, Director of the Africa Program, were tremendous hosts and teachers. For two weeks, they taught our team their system of reforesting former agricultural areas with native Malagasy trees through long-term collaborations with several communities in the Tamatave region. Each and every seedling which they plant is numerically marked, recorded, and monitored.
