Are you up for a 24-hour challenge? It only takes a minute. We’ve been spending weeks over the past few months getting ready, making it easy for you to take a moment to help protect endangered lemurs and their habitat. Join us for the 2020 Giving Challenge next Tuesday through Wednesday, April 28-29, noon to noon. It’s an exciting online giving opportunity—for lemurs, for the Lemur Conservation Foundation, and for you!
With 95% of over 100 lemur species threatened with extinction, we need to work together more urgently than ever. This 24-hour event can help provide a future for Madagascar’s primates. Funds raised through your generosity and others who share our compassion for lemurs will allow LCF to continue and expand vital conservation programs in managed breeding, education, scientific research, and art.
We’ve set an ambitious goal of $15,000 because, during this difficult time, our work must continue for lemurs.
Our work is making a difference for endangered lemurs. But not without support. Your gift during the 2020 Giving Challenge will make our programs possible so, together, we can make a future possible for these primates. This video provides you with a glimpse of our reserve in Florida and our work half a world away in Madagascar.
With one click of a button, you can make a donation with two times the impact. The 2020 Giving Challenge is presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation. Your donation of $25 to $100 will be matched 1:1 by The Patterson Foundation.
And, for your donation greater than $100—for example, $150, $250, $500 or more—The Patterson Foundation will donate $100. Your gift to protect lemurs becomes $250, $350, $600 and so on!
With a goal of $15,000 before the match, the Lemur Conservation Foundation is excited about the potential of raising $30,000. These are funds we need during this difficult time to continue our work.
Every gift counts. Can we count on you to make a world of difference for lemurs? To be eligible for matching funds, all donations must be made through the following link. Please visit and bookmark, so you can be among the first to help endangered lemurs during the 2020 Giving Challenge. Thank you!
