We recently said goodbye to ring-tailed lemur Foster as he traveled up the east coast to the Trevor Zoo at Millbrook School in Millbrook, New York. Recommended by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Ring-tailed Lemur Species Survival Plan (SSP), Foster’s transfer went off without a hitch and he is now settling into his new home with his new partners London and Lorelai.
Born on April 1, 2017 to parents Ansell and Yuengling, Foster grew up with several older siblings and was always eager to play and explore. The LCF team was sad to see him go, but we are all very excited for this new stage in his life.
If you are interested in visiting Foster in his new home, Trevor Zoo is open to the public.
