Sunset over baobab trees in Madagascar

Rachel White

Keeper
North Port, Florida

Rachel is from Bloomington, Indiana, where she began her animal care career in wildlife rehabilitation.

She came to LCF from the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, FL; there, she worked with lemurs, spider monkeys, and squirrel monkeys.

Rachel has professional experience with a large variety of species, but lemurs have always been her favorite.

“I love getting to see lemurs in a true natural habitat with our free ranging enclosures here at LCF,” she said. “There is nothing better than getting to see a lemur jumping around in the treetops!”
