Description:
Our 2010 calendar features Judy Flores' wonderful and
fanciful painting of our female collared
lemur "Claire." her vibrant original watercolor is
18" x 22" and will hang in the Mianatra Center.
Ana Flores is a Cuban-American artist whose focus reflects her
strong sense of stewardship for the land. She uses art as a way to
connect people to nature. As a professional artist, she has designed
parks, community projects, and sculptures for over a decade. She has
taught at Rhode Island School of Design and Bryant University and has
served as the artist-in-residence at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service’s
Kettle Pond Visitor Center. Through all of these experiences, Ana has
had the opportunity to share her environmental creativity and vision
with many audiences.
